Reverse Tashlich
The new date for the Reverse Tashlich will be Sunday, October 1 at 12:00pm at Plum Point Park on Route 9W in Newburgh. Tashlich is the Rosh Hashanah ritual in which Jews begin the New Year by symbolically casting off last year's sins by tossing bread crumbs into a body of water. This year we will remove pollution from the water and clean up local waterfronts. Come dressed ready to work outside. Bring garbage bags, rakes & work gloves. Everyone is welcome to join this national movement to improve our planet. No cost to attend.
