About Congregation Agudas Isreal (CAI) | Founded in 1886
We are a Conservative egalitarian synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. CAI is a founding partner in a shared campus known as Kol Yisrael. This unique collaboration with Temple Beth Jacob and the Newburgh Jewish Community Center enriches everyone's membership benefits and allows you to connect with a broader community. Membership Application
- Please contact our office to request a membership application by mail or email.
- Return the completed application to our office via email or mail it to: Congregation Agudas Israel, 290 North St, Newburgh, NY 12550.
- Applications are reviewed by our Spiritual Leader and Membership Committee.
- Upon acceptance, the Membership Committee will present your application to the Board of Trustees for a vote of approval.
